CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- Clifton Park residents got a chance to get some shopping done and get their voices heard by local lawmakers - all without leaving the mall.
Clifton Park Center Mall shoppers got to meet and ask questions of Assemblyman Jim Tedisco and Clifton Park Town Supervisor Phil Barrett, who held their office hours Saturday in the middle of the food court.
Barrett says "Town Hall at the Mall" events lets him hear from residents he might not usually get to talk to about the issues affecting their lives.
"Folks who are working who are busy throughout the week, this is an additional way for us to get the word out and meet with folks and talk to them about the issues of the day and also show them a little bit about what the towns been working on as well as the state of New York," said Barrett.
Both Tedisco and Barrett plan to hold more events like this in the future.
