Circus cancels animal walk in Albany


ALBANY, N.Y. - Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus announced it has canceled Wednesday morning's animal walk.

In a press release late Tuesday night, Ringling Brothers said due to the the circus train arriving ahead of schedule the traditioinal animal walk in downtown Albany was canceled.

Animals were to walk from the Port of Albany to the Times Union Center beginning at 6:00 a.m. The walk is the prelude to the circus' performances of their "Fully Charged" program.

The circus stated all other events planned for this week will go on as scheduled, including Thursday's Elephant Walk outside the Times Union Center at noon.

The "Fully Charged" performances at the Times Union Center run from May 2nd through May 6th.
