Berkshire Bank warning customers against automated calls

Posted:

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Berkshire Bank is warning its clients about an automated call that says there is an error with your debit card and asks you to put in your account number – don't.

Berkshire Bank says they have nothing to do with the call and is warning customers to avoid giving out information. Even people who are not customers of the bank are getting the calls.

Berkshire Bank tells the NEWS CENTER they would never send an e-mail, text or call you requesting confidential information.
