ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (AP) - A man charged with burglarizing the upstate New York home where his ex-girlfriend and her mother were found slain last week has been indicted by a grand jury, but the exact charges included in the indictment haven't been disclosed.

Brice Rivenburgh, 28, was told by the justice during Monday's appearance in Rotterdam Town Court that a Schenectady County grand jury had indicted him and the case was being transferred to county court.

Burglary is the only charge lodged against Rivenburgh, but police say their investigation into the women's slayings is continuing.

Authorities say police found the bodies of 52-year-old Tammy McCormack and her 23-year-old daughter, Jessica, inside their Rotterdam home last Wednesday.

The deaths were ruled homicides, but police haven't released the causes of death.
