Man indicted in deaths of Rotterdam mother, daughter

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (AP) - A man charged with
burglarizing the upstate New York home where his ex-girlfriend and her
mother were found slain last week has been indicted by a grand jury, but
the exact charges included in the indictment haven't been disclosed.
Rivenburgh, 28, was told by the justice during Monday's appearance in
Rotterdam Town Court that a Schenectady County grand jury had indicted
him and the case was being transferred to county court.
Burglary is the only charge lodged against
Rivenburgh, but police say their investigation into the women's slayings
Authorities say police found the bodies of
52-year-old Tammy McCormack and her 23-year-old daughter, Jessica,
inside their Rotterdam home last Wednesday.
The deaths were ruled homicides, but police haven't released the causes of death.
