ROTTERDAM, N.Y. - Funeral arrangements will be held this Wednesday evening for the mother and daughter found killed in their Rotterdam home last week.
Both women, 52-year-old Tammy McCormack and her daughter 22-year-old Jessica McCormack, were found dead in separate bedrooms at their Inner Drive home last Wednesday morning.
Calling hours for both Tammy and Jessica will be held at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc., 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam on Wednesday, April 17th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Kateri Takewitha Church on Rosa Road, Schenectady. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
The family respectfully requests that donations be made to St Jude's Research Hospital and or the local ASPCA.
According to police, Jessica's ex-boyfriend 28-year-old Brice Rivenburgh was initially arrested on burglary charges and is still under investigation for the women's murders. He has been indicted by a a Schenectady County grand jury, but the exact charges remain unclear.
Rivenburgh has been remanded to the Schenectady County Jail without bail.
