Scotia business owner arrested for selling drugs


SCOTIA, N.Y. - A Scotia business owner has been arrested for selling cocaine out of his store, the Scotia Police Department said on Thursday.

Police say 24-year-old Donald Andrews, of Schenectady, who owns and operates Dabb City Smoke Shop on Mohawk Avenue, was arrested last Saturday afternoon when a search warrant was executed there by the Sheriff's Office and Scotia Police.

Andrews was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, both felonies. He was remanded to the Schenectady County Jail on $15,000 bail.
