Man pleads guilty to driving backhoe drunk down Central Ave.
ALBANY, N.Y. - A Troy man pleaded guilty to driving a John Deer Backhoe drunk down Central Avenue in Albany on Wednesday.
The Albany County District Attorney says 44-year-old Jesus O'Farril was observed operating the backhoe on February 1st and failed to stay in the right hand lane. Officers initiated a traffic stop, observed a Four Loko can in the vehicle and said he appeared to be intoxicated.
O'Farril was found to have a BAC of .18%. He pleaded guilty to one count of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and faces 6 months in the Albany County Correctional Facility.
