Active shooter training takes place at South Glens Falls school
SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - State Police say they recently conducted an active shooter exercise drill during the recent school spring break
The two-day exercise was conducted on April 2nd and 3rd at the
Oliver W. Winch Middle School in the Village of South Glens Falls. The drills were facilitated by State Troopers belonging to the Firearms Unit and were scenario based, involving first responders
from multiple agencies responding to a simulated active shooter situation.
Over 50 Troopers and Investigators from the State Police along with members of
the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, the Village of South Glens Falls Police
Department and the City of Glens Falls Police Department participated in the two
