TROY, N.Y. -- A woman was struck while crossing the road on Hoosick Street Monday night, and police say it may have been because she was distracted by her phone.
The accident happened by Burdett Avenue at around 8 p.m. A group of three people were walking, but when the first two stopped, the third, a woman in her 20's, kept going and was hit.
She was taken to Samaritan Hospital with a possible broken leg.
The driver was not ticketed.
