3 suspects accused of stealing Children's Hospital donation jar


GUILDERLAND, N.Y. - The Guilderland Police Department is searching for three suspects allegedly responsible for stealing a donation jar containing $300 for the Children's Hospital.

Police say on Friday, around 5:53 p.m., the suspects entered Hannoush Jewelers in the Crossgates Mall where the donation jar was sitting on a counter. The first suspect took the jar while the second and third suspects appeared to be acting as lookouts.

All three suspects are described as black males, between the ages of 15 and 20.

The first suspect was wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt with a number 3 on the left side of the chest, with a black knit hat and appeared to have some facial hair.

The second suspect was wearing a blue coat with a large black stripe going down each sleeve, with a gray hoodie under hit coat, and a black or dark blue winter hat.

The third suspect was wearing a San Francisco 49ers coat with a large 49ers logo on the back, red sleeves with white striping, a 49ers brim hat and Timberland style boots.
