TROY, N.Y. – The trial for a Troy man accused of attempted murder begins Monday.
Daquan Jones, of Congress Street, was arrested by U.S. Marshalls in June 2012 for a shooting that happened on May 1, 2012 in front of 3251 Sixth Avenue. During the incident, a male in his early 20's was shot in the arm. The injuries were non-life threatening.
Jones is charged with Attempted Murder 2nd-Degree. He was indicted and sent to Rensselaer County Jail with no bail.
