ALBANY, N.Y. – A "Delivering for America" Rally to protect Saturday mail delivery will be held Sunday in Albany.
Concerned residents will rally, demanding "Congress deliver a better plan to strengthen the Postal Service for the future."
According to the rally organizers, many small business owners who require a six-day mailing service will suffer if the Postal Service continues to be dismantled. They also point out that cutting Saturday mail would delay important household transactions like bills, invoices, and personal communications that may force customers to shift to a higher-cost competing service.
The rally will be held from 1 -3 p.m. at the USPS processing Plant at 30 Old Karner Rd. in Albany.
