STUYVESANT, N.Y. – A 24-year-old is
under arrest after she was stopped by State Police while reportedly driving
erratically.
Mia Gabriel, 24, of Stockport, was
found to be intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration of .07 percent when
she was stopped after failing to stop for a stop sign at County Route 25 and 25A
in the Town Stuyvesant.
Gabriel was arrested for
Driving While Intoxicated and Drug Recognition Expert, Trooper Jonathan
Burleigh, performed a Drug Recognition Evaluation on Gabriel with a positive
response for Marijuana.
Further charges are pending, but
Gabriel will answer the original charges in the Town of Stuyvesant Court on
March 20.
