STUYVESANT, N.Y. – A 24-year-old is under arrest after she was stopped by State Police while reportedly driving erratically.

Mia Gabriel, 24, of Stockport, was found to be intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration of .07 percent when she was stopped after failing to stop for a stop sign at County Route 25 and 25A in the Town Stuyvesant.

Gabriel was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Drug Recognition Expert, Trooper Jonathan Burleigh, performed a Drug Recognition Evaluation on Gabriel with a positive response for Marijuana.

Further charges are pending, but Gabriel will answer the original charges in the Town of Stuyvesant Court on March 20.
