SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Fire crews in Schenectady are investigating a house fire that broke out late Wednesday night on Avenue A.
The fire at 1614 Avenue A in Schenectady started around 11 p.m. Crews say they arrived to flames pouring out of the second story windows and into the attic. Crews say they were able to put out the flames quickly.
Thankfully, everyone was out of the home by the time the Fire Department arrived, though one person was taken to the hospital for evaluation of smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
