Mazzone to announce fundraiser for Northway crash victims

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - Mazzone Hospitality will be joined by the parents of Northway crash victims Christopher Stewart and Deanna Rivers to announce a large-scale fundraiser to benefit two Capital Region nonprofits.

The fundraiser will be announced Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Clifton Park Center Mall.

All proceeds from the benefit fundraiser will be divided between The Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center and the Shenenendehowa Educational Foundation, in honor of Stewart and Rivers, the Shenendehowa seniors who died in a December 1 crash on the Northway that also injured Shenendehowa senior Matt Hardy and Shaker junior Bailey Wind.
