Snow Emergencies in Effect


Amsterdam - A snow emergency has been declared in Amsterdam for Monday, March 18th starting at 6 p.m. There will be no parking on city streets until further notice.

Catskill - The parking plan for the village of Catskill will begin on Monday at 8 p.m. All vehicles should be parked on the odd side of the streets from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., vehicles should be parked on the even side of the street from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Vehicles should continue to switch sides every 12 hours until the snow emergency has been cancelled. Effective Monday evening, there will be no parking on Main Street from Greene Street to Summitt Ave beginning at 8 p.m. Monday.

East Greenbush - The town of East Greenbush has declared a snow emergency starting 10 p.m. Monday until  the storm is over and streets are cleared. Vehicles are prohibited from parking on any public street during this time.

Gloversville - A parking ban will be in effect in Gloversville starting 11 p.m. Monday, do not park on the roads during this time.

Greenport - A snow emergency has been declared in Greenport beginning 6 p.m. Monday until noon Tuesday. No parking on streets during this time.

Mechanicville - The City of Mechanicville has declared a snow emergency to go into effect Monday at 8 p.m. Cars should be parked on the even side of the street until 8 p.m. Tuesday then the odd.

Saratoga Springs - Beginning at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, all vehicles on City Streets (except alternate side parking streets), must be moved to a plowed or cleared area.  Accordingly, all vehicles must be moved every twelve (12) hours thereafter until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20. Except for those streets posted for alternate side parking, it shall be unlawful to park or stand a motor vehicle for any continuous period of time in excess of twelve hours.

CANCELLED - Scotia - In anticipation of the expected snowstorm, the Village of Scotia has declared a snow emergency for a 24-hour period starting at midnight March 19th. As a result, for all of Tuesday, March 19th, parking is prohibited on all roadways in the Village and in the municipal parking lot.  Violators will be subject to a $50 fine and towing.

Schodack - A snow emergency has been declared in the town of Schodack. No on-street parking from 6 p.m. Monday, March 18 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 19.

Waterford - The town of Waterford has declared a snow emergency starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday until further notice. All residents must obey snow emergency signs or your vehicle will be towed.
