LATHAM, N.Y. – The Colonie Police Department is investigating a robbery of the Pioneer Savings Bank on Troy Schenectady Road in Latham Saturday.
Officers responded to a hold-up alarm at the bank at around 12:41 p.m.
According to authorities, the suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller.
There were no injuries, and the suspect left on foot from the main entrance.
Suspect Description:
- White or possibly Hispanic male (medium complexion)
- Around 5'10" tall
- Possibly 40's or 50's in age
- Camouflage jacket (w/hood), a gray hoodie, scarf, and sweatpants
It is unknown at this time how much money was taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact Colonie Police at 783-2744.
