Championship race expected to cause Green Island traffic delays
GREEN ISLAND, N.Y. – A 4-mile championship race in the Village of Green Island will cause traffic delays in the morning and afternoon.
Cohoes Avenue between Bleecker and Tibbits Avenues will be closed from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday, and organizers expect heavy traffic delays between 9 a.m. and noon.
The race will start and finish at the Legnard Curtin American legion post at 35 Cohoes Ave.
