NEWTONVILLE, N.Y. – The traffic pattern at the roundabout at Albany Shaker and Maxwell Roads will be interrupted beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday and continue on through the night.
All traffic will be routed to a single side of the roundabout as repairs are made to correct a sewer force main break in the vicinity.
While traffic flow will be controlled, travelers can expect delays and are advised to avoid the roundabout if possible.
While the Town anticipates having repairs completed by the morning of Friday, March 15, travelers may again want to try and avoid the roundabout through rush hour.
Although traffic through the roundabout will continue as normal until 8 p.m. Thursday, drivers are advised to exercise caution as roadways in the vicinity of the roundabout may be wet and slippery.
