COLONIE, N.Y. - The Colonie Police Department has arrested a 32-year-old man they say had sexual contact with a 15-year-old male.
Police arrested Carl Derush, of Benjamin Lane in Colonie, on Wednesday for allegedly having oral and anal sexual contact with the teen who police say he met through the online site grindr.com.
Police say the two had a few non-sexual encounters before the incident, which happened March 2nd and was reported by the victim on March 6th. There was no physical force involved, but the age of the victim with
relation to the age of the defendant constituted the criminal charge.
There are no indications of other victims, but
if anyone has any pertinent information about the defendant or are a victim of
the defendant they are urged to contact the Colonie Police Department at
783-2744.
Derush is charged with Criminal Sex Act 3rd and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Bail was posted at $30,000.
