LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. - The Warren County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 20-year-old Lake George man for driving while on prescription drugs and striking and killing a pedestrian.
The Sheriff's Office says Myron Green, of 198 Middle Road, was traveling southbound
on Lake Shore Drive in Bolton on June 21, 2012 when he
struck and killed a 36-year-old pedestrian who was walking in the area. Based
on the results of the investigation, Green operated his vehicle in a reckless
manner and did so while his ability to operate the vehicle was impaired by prescription
drugs, authorities say.
Green has been charged with Manslaughter 2nd-degree, Vehicular Manslaughter 2nd-degree, Criminally Negligent Homicide, Vehicular Assault 2nd-degree, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Reckless Endangerment. He has been remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
