ULSTER, N.Y. - The Ulster County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Saugerties man they say left his 5-year-old daughter unattended in a store for an extended period of time.
The Sheriff's Office says 27-year-old Beau Acker, of Saugerties, was arrested after a report of a child being left unattended on March 9th at 11:00 a.m.
The investigation revealed Acker left his 5-year-old daughter unattended
and unsupervised in a chair at a retail store in the Town of Ulster for an
extended period of time while he continued to shop.
He has been charged with one misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.
