GLENVILLE, N.Y. - The Glenville Police Department has arrested a man for arson after he allegedly set fire to a home in the trailer park he lives in.
Police say 53-year-old Joseph Hildenbrandt, of Reynolds Trailer Park in the town of Glenville, has been charged with third-degree arson, a felony, after an investigation into a fire at 2941 Amsterdam Road, in lot 10 of the trailer park.
Hildenbrandt is accused of
setting a couch on fire in the living room which caused extensive damage to the
trailer.
Members from the
Beukendaal and Scotia Fire Department
responded to extinguish the fire.
Hildenbrandt was arrested then arraigned in Glenville Town Court.
He was remanded to the Schenectady
County Jail in lieu of
$5,000 bail or bond.
