ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany Police are investigating the shooting of two 17-year-old females on First Street Monday night.
Police say they responded around 11:48 p.m. to the 200-block of First Street for a report of shots fired. No victims or suspects could be located.
While
investigating the shots fired, officers received a call just before 1 a.m. to Quail Street for a report of the first 17-year-old female with a
wound to the torso. It was determined that she had been shot
during the incident on First Street.
Then, around 2 a.m. officers received a call to Third Street for a report of a second 17-year-old
female with a gunshot wound to the torso. It was determined that she was also a victim to the shooting.
Both victims
were transported to Albany Medical Center for
treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the shooting appears to be the
result of an ongoing dispute.
