Thruway lane shift delayed

ALBANY, N.Y. -- A lane shift on the Thruway has been delayed due to last week's storm.

The Thruway Authority was planning on changing the lanes for northbound traffic between exits 23 and 24 Tuesday, but has now been put off while preparations are completed this week.

The traffic shift is part of a three year project to expand the number of lanes on that section of the thruway, which is expected to be completed this November.
