Transit Awareness Day promotes public transportation

ALBANY, N.Y. – Representatives from the state's transit agencies, business partners, labor, and riders will meet with lawmakers Monday to gain support for public transit.

Transit Awareness Day will feature an Invest in Transit Rally, a film festival, and legislative appointments.

The event will begin at noon at The Well of the Legislative Office Building at 198 State St. in Albany.
