South Glens Falls High School dance marathon brings in $489,716

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. -- Virtually the entire South Glens Falls High School turned out to take part in the 36th annual Dance Marathon.

The night started with a hand jiving warm up session, and quickly moved on to more modern tunes.

The marathon is a 28-hour long dance party to raise money for dozens of charities and worthy causes.

Last year the marathon brought in close to $400,000. This year they blew that number away and brought in $489,716.27.
