ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany police are investigating a robbery that occurred
this morning on Morris Street.
Shortly before 1 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Morris
Street for a report of a robbery.
When officers arrived, the victim stated that she was walking on Morris
Street when a male approached and pulled her purse off her shoulder. She states
that she fell to the ground and that the suspect fled the scene with her purse.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, 5'9", 180 lbs,
with dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and baseball cap.
