ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a jewelry store on Central Avenue.
On Wednesday at 3:40 p.m., officers responded to Eden Jewelry, located at 911 Central Ave., for a report of a robbery. When officers arrived, the victim stated that four black males entered the store and ordered the employees to the ground. One of the suspects was armed with what appeared to be a handgun. The suspects then went behind the counter and stole several jewelry items.
All four suspects then fled the scene, and no injuries were reported during the incident.
The suspects are described as follows:
- Black male, 5'9", last seen wearing a black jacket
- Black male, 5'8", last seen wearing a dark colored coat, a hat, with his face covered.
- Black male, unknown description
- Black male, unknown description
