Police: Mohawk Dairy employee steals $2,000 from business

FONDA, N.Y. - State Police say an employee of Mohawk Dairy in the City of Amsterdam allegedly stole $2,000 from the business.

Police were contacted by the President of Mohawk Dairy regarding suspicious activities by one of their employees, 52-year-old Louis Scott, of Amsterdam.

The investigation revealed that Scott had altered numerous delivery invoices and stolen over $2,000 from the business over the course of three months.

Scott was arrested on Sunday on multiple counts of Forgery 2nd and Falsify Business Records 1st in addition to one count of Grand Larceny 4th.
