ULSTER, N.Y. - The Ulster Police Department is investigating a complaint received on Sunday regarding a suspicious male at the Budget 19 Motel on Route 28 in the Town of Ulster.
Police say the caller stated around 7:30 p.m. the suspect approached a 7-year-old child in the rear parking lot of the motel and
engaged the child with unusual conversation. After the conversation, the child walked away from the male and returned to her
apartment where she reported the incident to her mother.
The suspect is described as being white, in his 30's, with brown hair. He was wearing
a green shirt, brown pants and operating a dark color Jeep or Nissan SUV, no
further description available. He left the area in an unknown direction.
