Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber announces 2013 Women of Excellence

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber has announced their selection of seven "Women of Excellence," who have achieved success in their professional careers and dedicated themselves to community service.

The honorees will be celebrated at the 22nd annual luncheon on Thursday, May 30.

The Chamber received numerous nominations of members and non-members. A committee of previous Women of Excellence award recipients made the selection.

This year's honorees are:

Distinguished Career:

Donna Lamkin, Chief Program Officer, Center for Disability Services

Excellence in Management (100+ staff members):

Joan Hayner, CMPE, CEO, CapitalCare Medical Group

Excellence in Management (1-99 staff members):

Maryellen Gilroy, Ed. D., Vice President for Student Affairs, Siena College

Excellence in Business:

Faith Ann Takes, President, Empire Education Corporation

Excellence in the Professions:

Sabrina Mosseau, BS, RN, OCN, Administrative Director/Medical Oncology & Women's Health, Samaritan Hospital Cancer Center & Women's Health Center

Excellence in Sales or Marketing:

Teresa Fenner Spadafora, Branch Manager, Vice President, First Niagara Bank, NA

Emerging Professional:

Kelly Brown Mateja, Director of Programs and Services, Colonie Senior Service Centers, Inc.
