Soil contamination results in for Albany High School

ALBANY, N.Y. – A test of the air quality near Albany High School comes up negative for possible soil contamination.

The New York State Department of Environmental conservation and the State Department of Health conducted the tests after learning from the U.S. Army, which operates facilities near the high school, that there could be elevated levels of certain contaminants in the groundwater.

Officials say more sampling will take place in the coming weeks.
