ALBANY, N.Y. – The Albany mother accused of partially undressing in front of children at a school assembly was due back in city court Tuesday, however her case has been adjourned to March 12.
Aydrea Meaders, 24, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Public Lewdness after she took her shirt off while on stage at the North Albany Academy.
Within seconds staff at the academy rushed the stage and the district says they ushered Meaders to the side and shielded her from the approximately 200 students while they waited for police.
A city court judge recommended substance abuse treatment for Meaders last week. She remains in custody.
