SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- In Hollywood you need an Oscar to get into the best parties, but here in the Capital Region, all you need is the desire to help support the mission of the Saratoga Film Forum.
This Oscar viewing party is fun with a purpose , people who love movies getting together to celebrate the best of Hollywood while the funds they raise ensures the Saratoga Film Forum continues to bring independent, hard-to-see films in every genre to downtown Saratoga.
Their new push? A move towards special event programming.
"Where we match terrific movies with presenters who can speak or perform music or panel discussions, so we're moving towards an enhanced movie experience that takes you beyond the movie and a deeper appreciation behind the ideas of the film," said Amy Godine, President of the Saratoga Film Forum.
