ALBANY, N.Y. – A softball clinic will be held Saturday for the Deanna Marie Rivers Foundation.
The Franklin Pierce Softball team and the Union College softball team will host the clinic from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. for ages 7-12 and from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. for ages 13-18.
A minimum donation of $25 is asked for each player, and all proceeds will go to the Deanna Marie Rivers Foundation.
All clinics will include both hitting and pitching instruction.
Deanna Rivers, 17, was one of two Shenendehowa seniors killed in December's Northway crash.
