Rep. Welch to outline legislation to protect Medicare

BENNINGTON, Vt. – Representative Peter Welch will meet with seniors on Friday to outline legislation to protect Medicare, lower prescription drug costs, and trim the deficit.

Welch will address a group of seniors at Bennington Project Independence, a not-for-profit agency that provides comprehensive adult day services.

The event will begin at 11:30 a.m.
