Cohoes asking for resident input on new waterfront park

COHOES, N.Y. -- The city of Cohoes is looking for input from residents on the preliminary design for the new city waterfront park.

The city received a grant for the park from the New York Department of State, and the goal is to purchase a 1.9 acre of property on Delaware Avenue to create a recreational spot with access to the Hudson River.

Officials will present the preliminary plans for the park, as well as take the public's input, Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Van Schaick Country Club.
