CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - State Police are investigating an assault complaint occurring at a private residence in the town of Clifton Park.
Police say the
67-year-old resident answered his door on Sunday around 5:50 p.m. and was confronted by a white male subject who asked the victim his name, then struck him on the top of his head with a
metal pipe.
The victim sustained a head laceration and was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Troy where he was treated and released.
The
suspect was described as a white male,
in his 30's, approximately 5'10", 165 pounds, wearing a gray knit hat
and dark zipper winter jacket. He was operating a white SUV vehicle,
possibly a Nissan Pathfinder (mid-2000's) that was last seen heading
towards Clifton Park Center Road.
