Breanna LaJoieTROY, N.Y. – The Troy Police Department says 13-year-old Breanna LaJoie has returned home safely Sunday night around 8:45 p.m.
Police were asking for the public's help locating the teen girl who was last seen on Friday from her residence on Madison Street in South Troy.
Breanna ran away from home after a short argument with her mother. Police report that she did not take any clothing, cell phone, computer or money with her.
Her mother and friends told police they had no leads on her whereabouts. Police have received reports that Breanna may be somewhere in Albany.
It is the Troy Police Department's belief that the public's knowledge of her situation was a key factor in getting her home.
