SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Two local college students were arrested after handing over forged licenses to police.
At 4 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to Excelsior Avenue for a complaint of an individual urinating in the road.
Officers stopped Robert Powers Vail, 19, and James E. Rimmer who were the subjects identified from the original complaint.
When for identification, both Vail and Rimmer produced forged NYS driver's licenses.
The two were placed under arrest and each charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, 3rd-Degree.
They were then transported to the police department where they were processed and then released to Skidmore Campus Security, as they are both Skidmore Students.
They are to appear in court on February 19.
