SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – A 28-year old Clifton Park man is
under arrest after an assault in downtown Saratoga Springs.
Police responded to Caroline Street for reports of a fight in
front of the Paddock Bar. When they arrived, it was determined that John R. Hodgkinson,
of Riverview Road, was involved in the fight and that he assaulted someone.
While they were placing Hodgkinson under arrest, officers
found a narcotic drug that field tested positive for Crystal Meth / MDMA in his
possession.
He is charged with Criminal possession of a Controlled
Substance in the 7th-Degree and Assault in the 3rd-Degree.
Hodgkinson was transported to the police department where he
was processed and then celled pending a court arraignment.
