SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – For Presidents Day 2013, thousands of Americans are expected to arrive in Washington D.C. for a Forward on Climate rally – some of them traveling from the Capital Region.
The rally aims to address all causes of human-induced climate change, but particularly the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline, which would transport oil across America's largest aquifer.
Attendees seek to deliver a message to President Obama, "we demand action and stand ready to help face this challenge.
Buses will depart from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs on Saturday night, and a second bus will depart from Albany on Sunday.
