Nurses and patients to march governor's mansion

Posted: Updated:

ALBANY, NY – Nurses and patients will march on the governor's mansion Saturday in protest of what they call a "dangerous healthcare experiment."

According to the New York State Nurses Association, the governor and Wall Street are pushing a "dangerous plan to hurt New York patient care – and they're targeting communities of color."

Nurses and patients will go to the Governor's mansion to tell him to stop his for-profit experiment on our communities and ask him to visit LICH and Interfaith before arbitrarily closing them.

The march will begin at 3:15 p.m. the Madison Avenue entrance to the Empire State Plaza, and end at the governor's mansion, 138 Eagle St., Albany.
