RENSSELAERVILLE, N.Y. – A farmer-brewer workshop focusing on growing, processing and procuring barley for craft brewing in New York will be hosted by the Carey Center for Global Good on Saturday.
Governor Cuomo is supporting increased state agriculture and the market for NYS grown barley is expanding, especially with last year's passage of the farm Brewery Legislation.
The event features several guest speakers from local brewing companies and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.
The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
341 Northern Blvd., Albany, NY 12204
