GLOVERSVILLE,
N.Y. -- A benefit was held Friday to help raise money for a baby girl from Gloversville,
fighting an incurable illness.
People
gathered at the Mckownville Church for little Izzy Sherman.
She is
living with mitochondrial complex one deficiency -- a rare genetic disorder
that progressively weakens every organ in the body.
She is
still under 8 pounds and is 10 months old, meaning she is very underweight for
her age.
