HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. -- A memorial service is being held for a young Warren County boy who died last year, allegedly at the hands of his father.
It was one year ago Friday that 15-month old Jesse Smith died from injuries he suffered after his father allegedly tossed him in a fit of anger.
Gary Lee Waite has been charged with manslaughter in the case and is still awaiting trial while Jesse's close family members say they are still waiting for justice.
His mother along with his aunts and uncles and his little sister Kylee are donning blue ribbons, planning to light candles in his honor and release balloons to send a message that he will not be forgotten.
