Rotterdam Police investigate Trustco Bank robbery

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. - Rotterdam police responded to the report of a robbery at the Trustco Bank at 1900 Altamont Avenue in Rotterdam Wednesday evening.

The robbery was reported just before 6 p.m. No weapon was displayed and an undetermined amount of cash was taken.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'5", medium build, wearing black clothing, including pants, coat, hat, ski mask and gloves. He was last seen running north on Altamont Ave,

Anyone who may have seen the suspect or has any information is asked to call Rotterdam Police Detectives at 355-7397.

There is no word on if this robbery is related to the Trustco Bank robbery in Guilderland which happened Wednesday evening as well.
