ALBANY, N.Y.  -- Albany police arrested two city residents Monday for forcibly stealing property from a teen on Delaware Avenue.

On Monday at 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Delaware Avenue for a report of a robbery. When officers arrived the victim stated that two males, both wearing ski masks, pushed him up against a wall and went into his pockets. The suspects then stole his cell phone and a set of headphones.

The victim was able to give officers a detailed description of the suspects.

Jaquan Rollin, 17, and a 15-year old male, whose name cannot be released due to his age, were observed by officers fleeing from the area. Officers apprehended both males on Morton Avenue where they were found to be in possession of the victim's stolen property.

Both were charged with Robbery 2nd-Degree, and Rollin was also charged with one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th.

Rollin was arraigned in the Albany City Criminal Court and released under the supervision of Albany County Probation.

The juvenile was processed and released to his parents pending a scheduled appearance in the Albany County Family Court.
