State police chase down two suspects

Suspect being pulled from creek.

TROY, N.Y. -- State police chased down two men in Troy Monday night, one of them headed straight into the Poestenkill Creek.

State police say they were chasing the men in a car on Route 4 when the two jumped out.

That's when Troy police joined in and one suspect went into the water trying to get away, but didn't make it very far.

Both are in custody and police say they believe the two had drugs on them, so officers are now backtracking to see if the two discarded any evidence.
